It really depends on what the client wants from their sink. If a client wants more space for washing dishes, then they may want to upgrade from a dual basin to a single basin sink.
If they’ve updated their kitchen cabinets, they may feel that Matte black vs stainless steel complements the look of their kitchen more. So, there are many different options as far as upgrades for function as well as style available to our clients.
At Nancy’s Plumbing, we pride ourselves on being able to offer our clients many different options for achieving the look or convenience they are looking for
It would definitely be reliable. A Professionally installed sink guarantees that your sink won’t have any issues with drain lines not fitting your new sink, faucets being loose, or the sink installation type not matching what is possible with your existing sink space, these issues may seem small and can be easily missed during a DIY install leading to small leaks that can cause big water damage or even an unexpected increase in budget.
When you work with Nancy’s Plumbing, whether you’re providing the sink or having us provide one for you, we can give you our expert advice to help you select the fixture that works best for you and ensure, with our straightforward pricing, within the budget YOU decide.
For kitchens, If you want a timeless look that’ll never go out of style, I recommend stainless steel single-basin kitchen sinks.
The biggest complaint I get from my clients is that the dual sinks just make them feel like their sinks are too small.
Another good feature of stainless steel is that it doesn’t wear out often, colored sinks or sinks that are made to look as if they’re porcelain start to lose their finish after a few years and need to be repainted, reglazed or sometimes due to corrosion just completely replaced.
In the same amount of time, all a stainless steel sink will need to be maintained is just some CLR and good brushing with some steel wool if that.
On the other hand, porcelain overmounts are a much better choice for most clients. They last longer than painted metal undermount sinks, and you don’t have to worry about under mount hardware failing to lead to the sink falling free from your vanity.
